75th anniversary of Verhoef, with a royal touch

On June 10th Verhoef celebrated her 75th anniversary! Some surprises were arranged by the personnel, who offered an impressive 3D print of a gangway system to the directors. But the biggest surpise was saved for last..

Mr. Martin Verhoef, as CEO of Verhoef, was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau by His Majesty the King of the The Netherlands. The royal decoration was presented to him by the Deputy Mayor Mr. Ap Reinders.

In his speech Mr. Reinders praised Verhoef for her great accomplishment to grow from a small shipyard to a world class player in the petrochemical industry, without losing the favorable aspects of being a family company. Mr. Martin Verhoef was suprised, but felt very honoured . He expressed his gratitude and emphazised the fact that is is always a team effort of all employees together.

At the end of the day the jubilee was celebrated with a cooking-workshop in Amsterdam.
