Verhoef is unique among the suppliers of Freefall Lifeboats, as besides the design and fabrication of the aluminium lifeboats, ALSO the cradles and davits are designed, manufactured and tested in our works in the Netherlands.
Launch and Recovery Systems are designed according latest SOLAS regulations and NORSOK R-002. The system guarantees a safe launching and recovery. After the launch the FFLB can be recovered by means of a hydraulically operated winch. HPU and controlbox are included in Verhoef's supply.
The Combi Cradle arrangement is available in various executions,
up to nine units in a row. Connection to the platform by means
of a single lift can be tailormade to suit Clients requirements.
Before delivery to the yard, the recovery system is erected on our factory test stand, where a trail fit with the freefall lifeboat is made to ensure a quick installation on board of the ship.
